Wine Reviews

2006 MERRY EDWARDS SONOMA COAST
PINOT NOIR

"This wine is just the ticket. It has a ripe blueberry and floral nose and tastes a little like blackberry and spice on the palate. The tannins are firm but are thankfully balanced by the wine’s fruit and thanks to the acidity and tannins this wine can still take some aging."

"Bright, cherry-raspberry nose; sleek and only slightly oaked. It's fairly light-bodied but definitely not wimpy, as some Pinots can be. It would be great with a salad of raspberries, gathered greens and bleu cheese crumbles."
